Frontiersman Buckskin Shirt |
G.A. Reneker |
Have you read our info articles about original
frontier buckskin clothing and how we make ours?
We use drawings for buckskin clothing and some accessories to better
emphasize subtle differences that would otherwise blend in on photographs.
If ordering buckskin clothing or rifle cases also send appropriate section(s) of our
Measurements Form.

Though not authenticated by our research, this has become an accepted
buckskin garment at rendezvous and other living
history events for those portraying a frontiersman or mountain
man. About mid-thigh in length, fully sewn with small, authentic
stitches.
Sides are sewn only to about groin level to allow free movement when working, hunting, etc. Buckskin draw string at neck. About 6" (15cm) uneven length hand cut fringe on sleeve and shoulder seams, and across chest and back. |
| Note: Sample buckskin colors may vary slightly depending on your browser. But then, colors vary slightly anyway between batches of buckskin during the smoking or dyeing processes. | |||||
