Most of us are wonderful people, but some may look a little funny outside. For a
proper fit we need to adjust basic patterns for your personal measurements.
Accurate measurements are very important, even with loose fitting buckskin clothing.
Do NOT take measurements from current clothing. Modern clothing is cut different
than buckskin clothing, and old buckskins have undoubtedly stretched out of shape and size.
Rarely can anyone accurately take all their own measurements, so we advise having someone else do the
measuring. {Sure, go ahead and have fun. Just don't forget the measurements!}
