American Indian College Fund:     Native American colleges have been called "under-funded miracles" and "economic lifelines" for U.S. Indian reservations. There are 31 tribal colleges -- all founded by Indians to fight high rates of poverty, educational failure, and cultural loss. These colleges created the non-profit American Indian College Fund to raise desperately needed scholarship, endowment and operating monies.

Center For World Indigenous Studies:     A considerable amount of information regarding current issues affecting the world's indigenous cultures. Ongoing research and documentation projects. Increase your global knowledge!

Native American Indian Legal Services:     A non-profit organization serving American Indian children and families in the are of Indian child welfare needs. In particular, foster care placements and adoptive placements.

Native Tech:     Plenty of How-to articles with historical information regarding crafts and skills.

Oyate - Books by Native American writers and illustrators:     Oyate is a Native organization working to see that our lives and histories are portrayed honestly, so all people will know our stories belong to us. For Native children, it is as important as it has ever been for them to know who they are, as well as who and what they come from. It is time for them to learn the accurate truth of history.

Red Feather Development Group:     Red Feather Development Group is a national nonprofit housing and community development organization. We work with American Indian nations to find lasting solutions for the acute lack of proper housing and desperate poverty that continue to plague many of these communities.

Southwest Educational Development Laboratory:     It's not all "Southwest" information. Volumes of information about Native American cultures, including appropriate materials for children and resources for teachers.

United South & Eastern Tribes:     Dedicated to enhancing the development of American Indian tribes, to improving the capabilities of tribal governments, and assisting the member tribes and their governments in dealing effectively with public policy issues and in serving the broad needs of American Indian people.
